Welcome to the Third International Conference
"HEAT PIPES FOR SPACE APPLICATIONS" (3rd HPSA conference)
March 10–12, 2027
We hope that the Third Conference will bring together heat pipe developers and manufacturers, as well as heads and specialists from space industry enterprises.
The 3rd HPSA conference pursues the following aims:
- to strengthen cooperation between developers of thermal control systems and manufacturers of components for these systems;
- to coordinate research on heat pipes and heat-pipe-based systems, and to clarify key issues in the development of heat pipes and thermal control systems development;
- to provide a broad exchange of experience in the application and operation of heat pipes for various spacecraft purposes space crafts;
- to bring together systems approaches to the design, development, and testing of heat pipes and heat-pipe-based systems among different enterprises in Russia and other countries.
The 3rd HPSA conference is organized under the auspices of TAIS Ltd., Lavochkin Association, and Moscow Aviation Institute and supported by the State Space Corporation "Roscosmos".
The Conference partners are leading manufacturers of heat pipes for space applications.
The conference will be held at the Planernoye Hotel in Khimki. It is located in one of the beautiful corners of the Moscow region, not far from the Leningrad Highway, between Sheremetyevo Airport and the center of Moscow. The natural complex on the banks of the Skhodnya River includes unique landscaped areas, scenic slopes, a park with mixed forest, and a lake. Accommodation for participants will be at the Planernoye Hotel and in hotels in Moscow. Special shuttle buses will transport participants to the conference venue from Khimki Railway Station, Planernaya and Rechnoy Vokzal metro stations; alternatively, they can take bus No. 28 from Khimki Railway Station.
The Conference program will include oral presentations, poster sessions, an exhibition of heat-pipe-based products, and a cultural program. The Conference’s International Scientific Committee will select papers for the 3d HPSAIC based on their scientific and practical significance.
The official languages of the 3rd HPSA are Russian and English. Papers and presentations can be submitted in either language. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided to facilitate communication between the Russian participants and their foreign colleagues. 30 best paper, selected by International Scientific Committee will be published in the journal "Vestnik of NPO Lavochkin JSC" (www.laspace.ru/en/press/vestnik/about).
All participants will receive a USB flash drive containing the full texts of the papers.
